Another Opinion Rejecting Dental Practice Business Interruption Insurance Coverage for COVID-19
The United States Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit (Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota) has issued another opinion – Rock Dental Arkansas PLLC v. Cincinnati Insurance Company – rejecting business interruption insurance coverage for a dental practice with respect to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Although no Federal Circuit has ruled in favor of any business so far on this issue, the 8th Circuit has had to deal with several dental practice cases on the issue. None have had a positive result for the dental practice.
