Casino Night
On December 6, 2023 we held a Casino Night as a fundraiser for our Give Kids A Smile event at the Inn at New Hyde Park. It was a fabulous success where attendees enjoyed a buffet dinner and open bar, coupled with great music from our DJ, 12 different Las Vegas Style gaming tables to play and dozens of fabulous auction items to bid on. Everyone went home with a smile on their face and many left with some incredible prizes. Prizes included a trip to Kenya, flat screen TV, behind the scene tour of Yankee Stadium, 3D printer, JetBlue Tickets, jewelry, signed memorabilia and more. We were even featured in a news item on WABC News that night!
NCDS Walk for Oral Cancer Awareness
On September 10th, the Nassau County Dental Society had their first “Oral Cancer Awareness 5K Walk/Run.” Held at Bethpage State Park, the weather cooperated and everyone had a great time. There was a live DJ, participants received T-Shirts, participated in raffles, and there were free oral cancer screenings for the public. Most importantly, NCDS was able to raise over $26,000 for the Oral Cancer Foundation.
