COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Apr 7, 2024

Please see the message below from Dr. Lawrence Eisenstein, Commissioner of Health, Nassau County

Dear Health Care Society Leaders,

We are writing to inform you that Nassau County Department of Health will begin our COVID vaccination activities on Tuesday, Jan. 5th, at Nassau Community College, CCB building. We now have an active link for registration up for people who wish to be vaccinated, as long as they qualify under the State’s guidance, Group 1A, weeks 1-4. I am happy to say this includes all medical providers and staff who have direct contact with patients. They can sign up for vaccination using the link below. Please note, in order to ensure fairness and integrity of the process, we WILL be confirming they work in health care, and we will be confirming identity. Instructions will be provided during registration. Vaccination is by appointment only, we will NOT be accepting Walk-ups. The link to sign up for vaccination with Nassau County Department of Health with us at Nassau Community College is:

https://apps.health.ny.gov/doh2/applinks/cdmspr/2/counties?OpID=50500881

Please know these vaccines are in high demand, and spots fill up quickly. New spots continually open, so please check back often. Also, Nassau University Medical Center has availability for vaccinating appropriate people. If the DOH link has no appointments, or if anybody prefers, appointments can be made at NUMC’s vaccinating site:

Hope to see all of your members for vaccination!

Thanks,

Larry
