Marc Herman, DDS
In March, 2020, Dr. Marc Herman was awarded the Kathleen Uebel Leadership Award by The American Academy of Dental Practice (AADP), their highest award. Dr. Herman has served on the Membership Committee, the Board of Directors, as Secretary, as President, as Program Chair, on their Applied Strategic Planning Committee, and as TREASURER of the AADP.
In June, 2020 Dr. Marc Herman was awarded attending of the Year by the residents at North Shore University Hospital-Long Island Jewish Medical Center - Hofstra School of Medicine, Department of Dental Medicine. Here, as a volunteer attending, he serves as Chief, Division of Practice Administration, Chief, Division of Orofacial Pain (TMJ), Chief, Division of General Dentistry, Chief, Division of Medical Ethics, and Chief, Division of Sports Medicine/Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Herman was also awarded a 40-year recognition plaque in honor of his service.
Dr. Marc Herman has practiced dentistry in the same location in Woodbury for 40 years. His practice specializes in restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry. He currently teaches: How to Inhibit and Understand and Mitigate the Covid-19 virus and Aerosols in the Dental Office.
EDUCATION OBJECTIVES & GOALS
This course covers COVID-19 Inhibition, Dental Strategy, Air Cleaning, and Pressurizing to mitigate the spread of aerosols. Attendees will be provided with a handout of what to buy, where to buy it and the cost of all items to create a sanitized office.
This is the same lecture that Dr. Herman gives to the residents at North Shore University Hospital-Long Island Jewish Medical Center - Hofstra School of Medicine, Department of Dental Medicine.
